Gigs

Every gig starts with a blues jam session, from 3pm. The session goes to 5:30pm when we clear the stage for our feature artist.

Musicians of any level are welcome to join in – just bring your instrument. Drums, amps and mics are supplied.

SHBC has charted some blues standards as a reference (check out our Songbook here). Jammers might find it helpful to be familiar with some of these songs in case they come up. The Jam isn't moderated - you can play anything as long as it's blues (or a close relation).

Get together with some friends and start rehearsing a few songs. No friends? No problem. Just turn up and our Jam Coordinator will put you in a group.

Expect to have time for 3 songs, but have a couple spare in case time allows.
