Sunday Jams & Gigs
Every 4th Sunday of the month we start off the afternoon with a blues jam at 3pm.
All musos of any level are welcome to join in, just bring your favourite instrument - drums, amps and mikes are supplied.
The session usually goes to about 5.30 when we clear the stage for our feature band.
We are now based at Bareena Bowls Club, 89 Noble St, Newtown.
The club has a beautiful heritage building with great facilities and a very welcoming atmosphere.
There are plenty of parking spots on the Huntingdon Street side of Bareena.
Everyone is welcome with entry at the door. Members $5 and non-members $10.
Around 6:30 pm, there will be a BBQ, with gold coin donations.
You can always bring your own snacks if you prefer.
Drinks are available at the bar at very reasonable prices.
New members are always welcome with discounted door entry. You can join while you are there.

Sunday Afternoon Jam Sessions
A big part of SHBC's tenure is to promote the Blues with particular attention to providing a regular opportunity for musicians to come along and play for a Blues-loving audience. Starting at 3 pm all you have to do is bring your instrument and join in. It would be a mistake to miss these Jam sessions.
